City Signage Upgrades Moving Forward – First Regulatory Signs Now Being Installed!
4/3/2026

Great progress on our city-wide signage refresh! At the March 23 City Council meeting, the governing body approved the purchase of new regulatory signs (STOP, DIP, CROSSWALK, 4-WAY, and more) to replace our aging safety markers around town.
Today, Maintenance Worker Brandon and City Clerk Anne beat the rain and installed the very first batch of these bright, updated signs. They’re already making our streets safer and easier to navigate!
This is just the first round of regulatory sign replacements. We’ll order the second phase later this year as we continue working through the full list.
In the meantime, we’ve also ordered new Wayfinder (directional) signs with the updated city logo — those are expected to arrive in the next few weeks and will start going up shortly after.
Safe travels, Whitewater!
