Frederic Remington Festival

A Celebration of Art & Ag

The Frederic Remington Festival, formerly known as the Whitewater Fall Festival, is an annual celebration held in Whitewater, Kansas, honoring the legacy of the renowned American artist Frederic Remington. Remington raised sheep and created art. This family friendly event, traditionally held in the fall on the first weekend of October, offers a variety of activities catering to all ages.

Past festivals have featured an Art Show, 5K Run/Walk, Pickleball Tournaments, Pumpkin Painting, Kids' Pedal Tractor Pulls, Turtle Races, Haybale Toss, an ATV Rodeo, Stick Horse Races, Greased Pig Contests, Bingo Games, Fireworks and more. The festival also includes community gatherings such as a Sunday morning worship service and meals, fostering a sense of togetherness among attendees.
