City Council

The City of Whitewater Council acts as the legislative branch of our government, as well as its policy-making body. The Council looks to our community's goals, major projects and infrastructure improvements ranging from community growth to land use to finances and strategic planning. The Council's goal is to do the very best to represent their constituents after they've seen to the needs of the community as a whole.

Council members are elected to a 4 year term.

All are welcome at City Council meetings which meet every 4th Monday of the month at 7:00pm. A time for the public to address the council is available at the beginning of each meeting. Please keep comments to a 5 minute limit for each person addressing the council. To discuss a more specific need or topic longer than 5 minutes must be scheduled through the city clerk and placed on the Agenda by noon the Wednesday prior to the meeting.
