Welcome to Whitewater, Kansas City of Whitewater… “A Little Town With a Big Heart”
Whitewater, Kansas offers a serene small-town vibe while still being conveniently close to larger cities like Wichita, El Dorado, and Newton. You get the best of both worlds - a quieter community with easy access to the amenities and opportunities of larger urban areas, all without the higher costs of living typically associated with big cities. It’s a balance that many find appealing.
Incorporated on April 15, 1890, you can find the city of Whitewater situated in the central part of the United States, specifically in the NW corner of Butler County. Whitewater is approximately 20 miles northeast of Wichita, which is the largest city in Kansas.
