IdeaTek's Fiber Broadband Groundbreaking Ceremony

The City of Whitewater, along with Elbing and Burns, welcomed the community and influential persons to a Golden Shovel Groundbreaking Ceremony celebrating the launch of high-speed fiber broadband with IdeaTek.
Date: Tuesday, May 26, 2026
Time: Approximately 10:30 a.m.
Location: Outside the Whitewater City Building (groundbreaking), followed by a reception at the Whitewater Memorial Library.
This project will bring reliable gigabit-speed internet to hundreds of homes and businesses in our communities. Thank you to all who came to celebrate this important step forward for our rural connectivity.
