2026 Annual Sewer Cleaning

PUBLIC NOTICE
The city of Whitewater has contracted with Mayer Specialty Services LLC of Goddard, Kansas to complete sanitary sewer cleaning and TV inspection of the city’s sewer collection system. This cleaning and inspection is necessary to evaluate and maintain the collection system and to prevent stoppages or other failures. This service is scheduled for February 4-5 and those effected should have received a notice on their doors.
PLEASE NOTE:
• Water and drains may be used as normal during the project; you most likely will not even notice that any work is being performed.
• To gain access to the city’s manhole(s) the contractor may need admittance to your yard. When you receive a yellow notice on your front door please be sure to unlock all gates, secure all pets indoors and provide a clear path for access prior to the arrival date listed on the notification.
• Taking the precautions listed on the yellow notification may help minimize any issues that may arise due to improperly connected or vented connections.
